Manned Services

  • We offer multiple packages for manned services on site including mud logging, surface logging, geological consulting, wellsite geology, geosteering, and gas detection technicians.

One or two experienced geo-technicians providing either a limited 24 hr/day, or two twelve-hour shifts, standard mudlogging service and gas detection service per your specifications including, but not limited to, the following:

  • Detailed microscopic examination and packaging of drill cuttings
  • Maintenance and operation of gas detection equipment
  • Evaluation of all zones for potential hydrocarbon production
  • Provide hydrocarbon information and other services for the wellsite geologist
  • In depth communications with client’s wellsite and office personnel
  • Ability to aid in picking core, casing points, and drill stem packer seats
  • Ability to aid in geosteering the drill bit in horizontal applications
  • Detailed mudlog, including pertinent digital data

One or two experienced degreed geologist(s) providing wellsite geological evaluation and consulting as per your specifications including, but not limited to, the following:

  • Detailed microscopic examination of drill cuttings
  • Identify current and anticipated location of the drill bit in a stratigraphic section
  • Evaluation of all zones for potential hydrocarbon production
  • Oversee mudlogging services
  • In-depth communications with your wellsite and office personnel
  • Aid in picking core, casing points, and drill stem packer seats
  • Capable of geosteering and landing the drill bit in horizontal applications
  • Detailed geology report and striplog including pertinent digital data
  • Detailed horizontal cross-section depicting landing, casing point, well bore, slides, hydrocarbon data, percentage in zone, penetration rates, and mud weight
  • One geologist may be used to monitor multiple wells if desired, provided each well has onsite surface logging or procurement of samples from a rig hand
  • Two geologists allows for more control over wellbore 24-hours per day (each working 12-hour shifts)
  • Consultants are not required to perform maintenance of gas detection equipment, mud logging equipment, or procurement of samples

  • In depth communications with client’s wellsite and office personnel
  • Detailed preparation and packaging of drill cuttings for shipping and handling
  • Detailed hydrocarbon-based mud log, including pertinent digital data
  • Note: Gas detection technician service differs slightly from traditional surface logging in that the technicians are on site to maintain equipment, procure samples, and compile data; this provides the client an opportunity to use an in-house geologist if desired to observe and describe samples, build a mud log, geosteer if needed, and need not worry about the functionality of the gas detection equipment nor procurement of samples.

Rental Services

  • We offer multiple packages for rental services on site including two separate gas detection devices, CO2, H2S, and the ability to provide detection for other noble gases including Helium.

Remote Services

  • We offer multiple packages for remote services on site including surface logging, wellsite geology, geosteering, and gas detection monitoring.
