NorAm employees at every level are required to meet high standards through training, resource allocation, advanced technology, proper equipment care, and clear procedures.  In all work and reporting, NorAm follows industry, government, and client standards designed to ensure timely, cost-effective service with reliable results.

Safety

NorAm regards safety as our highest priority.  NorAm is a registered member of the following safety services: NCMS – National Compliance Management Service, http://www.nationalcompliance.com , PEC – Petroleum Information Council, https://www.pecpremier.com , DISA – Contractors Drug & Alcohol Testing Consortium,  https://www.disa.com and SAFEMT Montana State Fund, http://www.safemt.com .  At the start of employment, all NorAm staff receives job-specific safety training and a copy of NorAm’s custom safety manual.  Each employee must verify in writing that he or she has read and understands the safety manual.  The employee is also required to read and understand the safety procedures of our clients as per master service agreement specifications. Periodic refresher and update training and monthly in-house safety alerts reinforce safe behavior.

Quality control

For accurate data collection, field equipment and instruments are regularly cleaned, calibrated, and serviced.  All employees are trained for proper equipment use and recordkeeping.  Daily well logs and electronic reports sent to the client are reviewed for accuracy and clarity before transmission.  NorAm’s in-house personnel thoroughly review all final client geological reports and well logs before distribution.  When available, historic logs from our library and state agencies are used to supplement and verify site findings and conclusions.

Confidentiality

Information generated at the wellsite or in the office is shared only with individuals or companies authorized by the client.  All client data will be considered confidential through individual state allowed time frames or longer if requested by the client.  Electronic data files are compressed and encrypted, and protected in a secure data hub accessible only with proper codes and passwords.
