Log Library

NorAm owns an extensive log library comprised of mudlogs, geologic strip logs and or geologic reports for approximately 4,700 wells in the Rocky Mountain regions.  Information dates back to 1954, representing all wells logged in the region by NorAm and its predecessors.  The following map shows the current states with available well logs.  These states include: Alaska, Colorado, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming.

Our mud logs are stored both in hard copy format and digitally in house.  For many logs created prior to 1995 we only have hard copy format; log requests for these logs will require us to scan and/or copy them for your use.

In keeping with our strict confidentiality policies, mud logs, geology reports, electronic logs, cross-sections, and any other information falling under confidential status are only available once they are released off of such confidential, "tight-hole" status.
