Based in Billings, Montana, NorAm Wellsite Services provides premier wellsite support for oil and gas exploration and production in the U.S. Rocky Mountain region.  Our key services are geologic consulting, manned hydrocarbon logging (mudlogging), and gas detection equipment rental.  All data collection and interpretation are enhanced by in-house and client access to our significant regional log library.

We are experts in the regional geology, with knowledge derived from decades of hands-on-experience.  Through affiliation with Continental Labs and CL Consultants of Canada, we bring to every project the latest in industry-leading technology for gas detection and computer based reporting with the additional advantage of providing personnel experienced throughout North America These assets, combined with integrity, flexibility, and solid in-person and internet-based client communication, are the basis for our strong regional presence and stability.

NorAm believes that a safe operating environment both in-house and at wellsite is critical to providing a professional mudlogging and geological consulting service to our clients. NorAm uses both ISN Networld (HS & E), DISA and PEC to regulate and audit its safety practices.

NorAm was founded by a group of former Continental Laboratories geologists and managers who acquired the assets of Continental Laboratories Northern US Division, a geological consulting and mudlogging company which began operation in 1954.  NorAm continues to partner with Continental Laboratories and CL Consultants of Calgary, Canada.
